These Terms govern your use of the Let's Playdate website and app ("Service"), operated by Let's Playdate, based in Melbourne, Victoria ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. About the Service

Let's Playdate helps parents and caregivers in Melbourne discover kid-friendly events, activities and places, and generates AI-assisted day plans from our own curated catalogue. The Service is currently pre-launch/beta and may change without notice.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be 18+ to create an account. You're responsible for your account details and activity, and for the accuracy of your information. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or misuse the Service..

3. Listings & third-party content

We curate and review listings, but we are not the organiser, venue, or provider of any event — we're a discovery platform only. To ensure listings are accurate, current, or available, and you should independently verify details, via the source website provided.

4. Bookings

All bookings are made directly with the event or venue provider, through their own website — not through us. We don't process payments or take a booking fee, and we're not a party to any booking. For booking issues, cancellations, or refunds, contact the event provider directly — not Let's Playdate.

Some listings may be marked as "Sponsored" or "Featured" where a provider has paid to promote them, and some outbound links may earn us a referral commission or affiliate payment at no extra cost to you. This never affects whether a listing is accurate — sponsored and affiliate content follows the same review process as any other listing, and we clearly label it as such.

5. Images & third-party content

Images used for listings belong to the relevant event, venue, or provider (or licensed sources) — we don't own or claim ownership of them. If you're a rights holder with a concern about an image, contact us and we'll review it promptly. Some content is sourced from third parties such as Google and displayed as provided.

6. Intellectual property

Our branding, design, and platform are owned by us or our licensors. This service must be used for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

7. Disclaimers & liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is," without warranties, and we're not liable for third-party events, venues, bookings, images, or AI content. Nothing here excludes any guarantee or right that can't lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to resupplying the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or end your access for breaching these Terms. You can stop using the Service anytime.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update the Service or these Terms; material changes will be notified where practicable. Continued use after changes means you accept the update.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the jurisdiction of its courts.
